ABOUT

Dr. Angela Baylis, DC

Welcome to your new space for wellness. I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a doctor of chiropractic, and have been active in my practice in Raleigh, North Carolina for almost 30 years. My passion for chiropractic medicine began at an early age as I watched my mother successfully overcome illness with the help of her chiropractor.

My certifications, specialties and expertise are all centered around holistic natural health wellness techniques, including Applied Kinesiology (AK), Nambudripad’s Allergy elimination Techniques (NAET), Total Repro Bioresonance technique, Colorpuncture, and Heart Math Technique. I am Level III Certified in Neuroemotional Technique (NET) which is the highest level of certification attainable.

What do all of those acronyms really mean? The combination of my knowledge and my experience allows me to get to the heart of your health issues. The body is amazing! It can give us so much information – all things are connected – and sometimes the cause isn’t what it might initially seem. We’ll work together to determine what your body needs and your course of treatment. Individualized care just for you, in a safe and healing space.

Over the years, I’ve been able to help my patients achieve optimum health through successful treatments for issues including chronic fatigue, chronic headaches, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic joint pain and Lyme disease. I’ve been instrumental in helping female patients find relief from PMS, menopause, infertility, allergies, and hormone imbalances. Many of my patients are living proof that we can heal and live vibrant lives.

My favorite part of this work is putting the big picture together – how our limbic system and our mind truly affect our body and energy centers and makes us chronically ill. Together, we can work to repair the limbic system in order to heal chronic illness.

If your health journey feels like a course with many roadblocks, or a puzzling mystery, I encourage you to connect. We can set up a consultation to get started on your healing journey. You may be surprised at what knowledge of body systems can do for healing your body and your heart!

A little about me:

I’m a native of Winchester, Virginia and received my bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas in 1998.

Throughout my career, I have made a commitment to community involvement and leadership. I was named one of the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award recipients and Chiropractor of The Year from my alma mater. In 2015 I obtained my diploma in Clinical Nutrition.

I’m mom to an amazing teenage son and love to be in my body and moving – walking and playing my Frenchie, Orion, doing Pilates or taking long walks. I’m a certified Pilates instructor, for both equipment and mat Pilates.
